Posted on: 26 Apr 2024

The announcement of the synth-pop legends as headliners comes alongside their biggest line-up to date on the 15th anniversary of the award-winning celebrations.

Bristol Pride will hit The Downs and the City Centre on Saturday 13 July 2024.

With 44 years at the top of their game, veteran hitmakers The Human League will close the Main Stage ‘in style’ as they drop by Bristol Pride ahead of a massive European tour. The Brit Award-winners have sold over 20 million records worldwide including such hits as ‘Together in Electric Dreams’, ‘Mirror Man’ and, of course, ‘Don’t You Want Me’.

In addition to The Human League, the LGBT+ Charity has released their full Main Stage programme, featuring dance star Georgia, 90s legend Rozalla, synth band CatBear, MantarayBryn, Basement Jaxx singer and Ronnie Scott’s resident Vula Malinga and Sing Out Bristol.

There will also be sets from Swedish pop royalty in Charlotte Perrelli, BBC Project Ikon winner Dylan and The Moon, euphoric pop sensation Claire Richards from Steps and global icons and electro outfit Ladytron.

Organisers have also revealed the lineup for the Uplift Stage, which aims to showcase the diversity of Bristol music and performance. Acts performing on the stage include Bled, Luna Kali Kerensa and Bristol legends The Menstrual Cramps while the likes of Laddie Gaga, Kurt Sovainwill show how exciting Bristol’s performance scene is!

This year’s Bristol Pride marks the 15th anniversary of the award-winning festival and more than 46,000 across the two weeks of events. This latest roster of acts follows the already announced Cabaret Stage lineup with stage headliners Heidi n Closet and Pixie Polite from RuPaul’s Drag Race and many others performing on the day.

Bristol Pride Day remains a donation entry festival to ensure it is open to everyone, however, Supporter Wristbands are available to purchase now.
