VegfestUK - one of Europe's biggest and best vegan food and live music festivals – returns to Bristol for the 11th year from 23-25 May 2014 at the outdoor Amphitheatre on Bristol's waterfront.

With over 140 stalls full of mouth-watering food, fashion, cosmetics and body care as well as talks, cooking demos, workshops, films and kids' cookery classes as well as live comedy during the day there really is something for all the family!  VegfestUK’s evening line-up sees legendary punk rock band Ruts DC playing alongside other bands in the evenings attracting not only veggies and healthy-eaters but dedicated food, music and festival lovers.

"Since our shows began back in 2003, we've always strived to maintain a balance between festival charm and food education, and that has proved to be very attractive for the veggie-curious, the meat reducers and 'flexitarians', who have been growing in leaps and bounds for the past decade," say the organisers.

"VegfestUK gives everyone a top day out while getting across the benefits of increasing their fruit, veg and grain intake and reducing their meat and dairy, in a very informal and rock-and-roll atmosphere. The best thing is that no one is under pressure to go veggie at all. People can just come down to our festivals, sample a myriad of quality, healthier plant-based substitutes for their customary sausages, doner kebabs, chicken nuggets, milkshakes and pizzas, enjoy the festival capers, then make their own dietary decisions afterwards."

VegfestUk is a unique festival that regularly attracts 20,000 visitors over 3 days. The 2013 event featured not just great food and life-changing dietary info during the day, but also fantastic music in the evenings from the Happy Mondays, Caravan Palace, the Abyssinians and other guests.

Admission on May 24th (before 6pm) and May 25th (all day) is £3 (pay on gate), and that on May 23rd and 24th (after 6pm) is £10 (by advance tickets). All products displayed are 100% plant-based, with no animal products permitted in any shape or form!

365Bristol are proud to be associated with this fantastic festival as one of the lead media partners for the event. Find out more about VegfestUK at www.bristol.vegfest.co.uk.
