Tokyo Dub Festival in Bristol on 27 September 2014

Posted on: 16 Sep 2014

Diverse one-day festival Tokyo Dub returns to Bristol for its 4th year on Saturday 27th September at Eastville Park.

The organisers of Tokyo Dub have been organising music events in Bristol for 15 years. Their aim has been to reflect the diverse and rich arts and music culture that surrounds Bristol, bringing large scale and small scale events to the city.

The first Tokyo Dub festival was in 2011, when the very first sound system event took to Motion nightclub. Since then, the festival has moved to Castle Park and is now hosted in the beautiful landscape of Eastville Park in 2014. This change of scenery will allow the festival to diversify and cater to wider reaching festival-goers. The festival always has people from all over the UK and Europe travelling to Bristol to appreciate its eclectic offerings. Bristol is well known for its massive musical background and history, playing host to a variety of alternative festivals throughout the year and as a way of showcasing local acts and those who have been influenced by Bristol sound and culture - Tokyo Dub 2014 looks set to be huge.

The festival encompasses musical styles that aren’t usually heard together, offering the perfect opportunity to discover new music and sounds.

The line-up for the one day festival is as follows:
