The team behind Foto 39, who are four Fine Art Photography graduates, are excited to announce that their debut event, Open-Submission Exhibition will open at the Christmas Steps Gallery on Monday 3 November 2014 from 6pm-9pm, and continue throughout the week with a showcase of exceptional and diverse light-based media, including photographs, moving image, photo-books and zines.

The exhibiting artists have been chosen by Richard Billingham, a fine art photographer and lecturer at the University of Gloucestershire who has been a Turner Prize nominee and the first recipient of the Deutsche Börse Photography Prize, and the Foto39 Curators who are Emilia Nylén, Phillipa Klaiber, Dawn Schuck and Simon Pilgrim.
