Posted on: 19 Dec 2014Starlite Productions will be bringing Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to The Redgrave Theatre in Bristol from 2-10 January 2015 with profits being donated to Children's Hospice South West and other local charities.

Starlite Productions have been raising money for children's chairities in the region for nearly 14 years and to date this has totalled over £77,000. Set up by Andrew Ford and Mandie Love-Williams they have performed a traditional community pantomime at the Redgrave Theatre for the last 13 years.
According to Mandie “Pantomime has always been the ideal vehicle for our fundraising as it caters for children of all ages”. It is certainly a formula that seems to ‘tick all the right boxes’ with many audience members writing to the company to express their enjoyment of the show. Andrew notes that “Many of our audiences tell us that they prefer our shows to the star-studded professional productions which in itself is a huge compliment”.
Unlike some other societies, Starlite Productions receive no form of sponsorship and yet after paying their production costs, they are still able to donate significant amounts each year. Mandie continued “Our purpose has always been and remains to be that of providing entertainment for others through the enjoyment of performing and by doing so we ensure that those children who are less fortunate circumstances may benefit from the proceeds which you, the audience help to provide. Our most sincere thanks”.
