Julius Caesar at The Redgrave Theatre in Bristol on Saturday 31st and Saturday 7th February 2015

Posted on: 28 Jan 2015

Julius Caesar will be performed  at The Redgrave Theatre on Saturday 31 January and Saturday 7 February 2015 at 10.30am.

The performances follow a sell-out run of The Comedy of Errors and Romeo and Juliet by The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and is one of Shakespeare's most accessible masterpieces of Roman history.

It's a rollercoaster tale filled with murder, politics and betrayal. This version has been adapted by Toby Hulse especially for the understanding of young audiences and resets the play in the world of media manipulation, 24 hour news and digital information, but still retains the power and beauty of The Bard's original verse.

It's an inspiring and thrilling introduction to Shakespeare's work.
