Bristol Vegfest 2015, the annual vegetarian festival, will be held this year on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th May at Lloyds Amphitheatre on the harbourside. Confirmed guests entertaining the crowds already include DJ Alfredo (Ibiza) known for his sets with Hed Kandi and LTJ Bukem, the drum and bass DJ.

Bristol’s home to all things veggie, VegfestUK is a mouthwatering collection of good food, good music and good vibes. This May, Vegfest organisers will be throwing huge House and Reggae parties to coincide with the sumptuous vegan food feast, educational presentations and brilliant family activities that make up the festival.

15 different caterers will provide a striking and vibrant array of vegan street food from across the globe. This will include pad thais, sushis, paella, Caribbean specialties, cakes, Indian curries, churros, freshly fried chips, Chinese stir-fries, hot dogs and others. There will also be 5 licensed bars serving vegan alcoholic drinks, and a range of juice and smoothie bars for the non-drinkers.

150 stalls will also be open to the public, with free samples and discounts in abundance. Those looking for inspirations on going vegan/veggie or reducing their meat and dairy can look forward to a potentially life-changing range of other activities during the day, including: kids cookery classes, cookery demos, talks,  a LifeWell Hub on natural healing, vegan activists workshops with solid ideas on educating your local communities about their food choices. There is also a family area that will include live music, water fights and much more!

As the evening draws in, the DJs will take the stage including Alfredo from Ibiza, DJ Luminous and DJ Wonderpig playing a range of House music on the Saturday, while Sunday will see the finest Reggae tunes blasted out by drum and bass legend LTJ Bukem.

Admission is by payment on the gate. Tickets are £3 before 5pm and £5 after 5pm for adults. Kids under 16 can enter for free. For further information about the event please visit www.bristol.vegfest.co.uk.
