Make Your Own Moomin workshop at Watershed in Bristol on Friday 29 May 2015

Posted on: 29 May 2015

What better, more fun and - for those of a certain parental vintage - nostalgic way to round off the half term holidays than with the Make Your Own Moomin workshop at the Watershed in Bristol on Friday 29 May 2015.

This family-friendly craft session will teach you how to make your own versions of characters from this classic cartoon show, which is currently making something of an unexpected but delightful resurgence.

Film and theatre maker Joseph Wallace will help you create a Moomin from felt and cardboard during three sessions throughout the day at 10am, 1pm and 3.30pm. Create your own Moomintroll, Moominmamma, Moominpappa, Snork and Snorkmaiden for this event which is being held by the Watershed to celebrate the Finnish cartoon's 70th anniversary.

The cinema will also be hosting a special season of screenings dedicated to all things Moomin-like with the film Moomin Mania : Moomins on the Riviera (U) showing throughout the day.
