4th of July in Bristol

Posted on: 03 Jul 2015

The 4th of July is obviously synonymous with all things Stateside. Let’s see what’s on offer in the city for blue passport holders and fans of Americana alike.

Grillstock

Not much needs to be said, surely? Grillstock has quickly become a Bristol favourite and serves up BBQ quite like no other. They even force you to sit next to other diners on their huge dining table and possibly even be sociable should you dare break the British stereotype. Wonderful, wonderful food and an atmosphere like no other.

Plead the Fifth

Take your US passport with you on The 4th and get your hands on some free corn dogs! That’s enough in itself but what about those not blessed with a calling card from the USA? They offer a superb range of food and are quickly gaining a great reputation.

Spitfire

Country tunes and home-made punch is on offer at this Harbourside hotspot. The food is on point and the atmosphere is welcoming. Overlooking the river it’s tough to beat this spot and certainly worth checking in on.
