Posted on: 31 Jul 2015

The Anson Rooms is a live music and events venue located in Clifton in Bristol run by University of Bristol Students' Union.

It has been the home of cutting edge music and performance in Bristol since the 1960's hosting some huge names such as David Bowie, Radiohead, INXS, The Smiths, Coldplay and many more. Forthcoming shows in the remainder of 2015 include:

Leon Bridges - rescheduled to Tueaday 22 September 2015

As part of a full UK tour, the enigmatic Texan will be returning to Bristol in the Autumn, marking his second trip outside the US. This is his biggest UK headline tour yet, spanning the whole of September, and will see him performing many well-loved tracks from his debut album, Coming Home.

Fink - 15 October 2015

Fink thrive on live performance, seeing it as a chance to exhibit their incredible songwriting style to a wide audience of people. The latest album, Hard Believer, was released in 2014, their first release on R’COUP’D, the new label created by the members. Fin Greenall provides vocals and guitar, while Tim Thornton provides drums, and Guy Whittaker on bass. The sound of the album is bluesy and urban, inspired in part by life’s twists and turns, documenting the hard-won triumphs and bitter-sweet experiences.

Ride - 17 October 2015

Since their April reunion, Ride have been selling out headline shows across the world, hitting the US, Europe and the UK, including an array of huge festivals such as Coachella, Primavera and Field Day. Sounding just as good, if not better, than they did in their heyday, Ride have consistently thrilled fans of all ages at their energetic and emotional shows.

Slaves - 14 November 2015

Hailing from Tunbridge Wells, Slaves are Isaac and Laurie are a winning duo of scathing riffs and snarky vocals. Critics and fans have been blown away by their riotous rise to fame, with two nights at London’s Scala selling out in no time at all. They were asked to cover LCD Soundsystem and Skepta by Huw Stephens and Fearne Cotton for their Radio 1 shows, and have supported Interpol on a number of UK dates.
