The Tubes perform sold out show at The Fleece on the 3rd August 2015

The Tubes are performing on the 3rd August at The Fleece, Bristol.

Formed of Fee Waybill, Roger Steen, Prairie Prince, Rick Anderson and David Medd, The Tubes are a legendary group who made their debut in 1975. The band have consistently produced iconic songs, both before and after their reunion. Their 1983 single, She’s A Beauty, was one of the most played videos in the early days of MTV.

Their elaborate and before-their-time shows have been described as all things from genius to pornography. Combining outlandish creativity with eccentric musical talent, The Tubes often poked holes in the thinly veiled satire that the world so often created of itself. Their live shows have become famous for the astounding amount of effort employed, performing almost fully-fledged production numbers on a live stage.

The Tubes have had an incredibly varied career, from starring in video game commercials to opening for David Bowie, from Andy Warhol film appearances to headlining alongside Frank Zappa and Peter Gabriel. They have performed on every kind of stage, widening their fanbase to astronomical size.

As expected, the show in Bristol has already sold out, but tickets may be available last minute. Click here to visit the Facebook Event page where tickets may be sold.
