Day Of The Dead Celebration at Viva La Mexicana in Bristol
Posted on: 18 Aug 2015
To celebrate the Mexican festival holiday Day of the Dead, or Día de los Muertos, there's no better setting in Bristol than Viva La Mexicana on Saturday 31 October 2015.
Originating in Mexico, Día de los Muertos is now recognised all over the world. On this day, families would gather to pray for friends and family members who have passed, and to support their spiritual journey. Far from a morbid affair though, it very much was and continues to be a celebration that has translated in to modern-day festivities characterised by the ornate skulls painted on faces around the world.

There will be veggie, gluten free and meat lovers options available in order to cater for all who want to join in the festivities. There will be live Mariachi music and prizes for the best painted faces and costumes.
So join your hosts at Viva La Mexicana on this great occasion for some truly authentic Mexican food you will find nowhere else in Bristol.
