OK, so we're not strictly 'under attack' in the literal sense. We might have over-egged that particular pudding. But...a new 10-part drama kicks off tonight, Monday October 5 2015 at 8pm. Hanover Pictures in association with CBA Productions and Nutty Squirrel Films produce the web-series. Shot in, and focusing on, Bristol, this is a full-scale drama series condensed into manageable chunks.

All the info you need about the show, cast and crew, plus to actually watch the shows is available right here

The ten episodes run between just 4 and 6 minutes each. The show was always conceived as something you could watch on the bus, or on your lunch break; basically something that could be digested fairly quickly and more easily fit in to people's busy schedules. The cast is a strong one, with every first choice actor accepting their role.

Episode 1: ‘Arrival’ kicks things off for us. "In the aftermath of a near fatal car accident, four people returning from a funeral realise nothing will ever be the same when they look to the sky and see a mysterious alien ship hovering over their home city."

The work that has gone in to this series is quite spectacular. The acting is superb and the characters demand empathy in various ways. Alongside the story itself, it’s undeniable entertaining to try and pick out all the Bristol landmarks that feature.

As you settle in for the night and obviously check out this excellent new Bristol gem - if you’re feeling puckish then why not order the Bristol Bad Boy from Red Pizza Co? There’s a huge variety on offer, including beer, wine and cider. It definitely gets our thumbs up. Click here for the details.
