This award winning Broadway smash hit will be performed by BMYP, Bristol Musical Youth Productions, and showcases a fine selection of talented young people from Bristol.
A rock opera that follows a year in the life of a small group of friends, this has been a firm favourite with audiences across the UK. Watch as a group of bohemians struggle in a modern East Village New York… Mark and Roger are room mates around whom the story revolves, one numb from former tragedy, and one documenting his every move in his desperate attempts to make a film. In the year that follows, the group deals with love, loss, AIDS and modern day life in one truly powerful story.
As one of the longest running shows on Broadway, Rent is both raw and riveting, a sure fire hit with people of all tastes.
