Dog Friendly Pubs in Bristol

Dog Friendly Pubs in Bristol

Posted on: 26 Oct 2015

For dog-lovers there can be nothing better than a good walk with your trusty pup followed by a coffee, swift half, or good meal at a great pub. What better way to rest those weary legs than sat at a table in one of Bristol’s best pubs…with your pup at your side.

A good portion of pubs do not allow dogs…but there are a great number that do! It’s a different atmosphere, sure, but one that is welcomed by all that are there and one that can only get better as the days draw shorter and the temperature drops. What could be better than a nice pint of local ale and a good, hearty meal in a characterful Bristol pub while your pup sleeps off its run?!

We had a good scout around and found some of the best spots that are dog-friendly, but also are certainly worth going to, pup or not! These pubs are all featured on 365 and have rightly earned their great reputations, regardless of their welcome towards canines. They are superb watering holes and restaurants alike. These pubs are some of our favourites in the city…
