The team behind the supersonic car, set to break the land speed record of 1000mph, are now looking to inspire the next generation by bringing STEM skills to life in the most exciting way.

‘Get Started with Rocket Cars’, delivered by The Prince’s Trust in partnership with The Bloodhound Project, will be running from Monday 7 - Friday 11 December 2015 at The Bloodhound Training Centre, Bristol. The programme is FREE and all travel expenses along with lunch will be paid for. The location itself is top-secret but let’s just say it’s to the west of Bristol and is very easy to get to!

The programme is aimed at young people who are 16-25 and not engaged in education, employment or training. The programme allows young people to gain experience in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM). They will participate in engineering and aerodynamic workshops, will design their very own mini rocket car and will be working with engineers in the industry to learn more about the career routes. This is a fantastic opportunity for young people put something new on their CV and improve their chances of getting a future job.

Each young person will receive up to three months support to move into education, training or employment. Those interested in the course are invited to attend a taster session on the Tuesday 1st December. This is a simply spectacular opportunity for the people of Bristol. We are hugely lucky to have such a thing on our doorstep and 365 Bristol are very proud to feature this unique event. The programme is aimed at young people who are 16-25 and not engaged in education, employment or training.
