Bristol Pirates are a group of enthusiasts who provide the opportunity for you to explore the history that Bristol shares with pirates, but also delve deeper into the rich maritime traditions of this great city.
Not only does the infamous Blackbeard feature, but also John Cabot and his incredible journey to Newfoundland. Bristol had a huge influence on Robert Louis Stevenson's book Treasure Island along with playing a vital role in inspiring Daniel Defoe to write his book Robinson Crusoe.
