Not only does the infamous Blackbeard feature, but also John Cabot and his incredible journey to Newfoundland. Bristol had a huge influence on Robert Louis Stevenson's book Treasure Island along with playing a vital role in inspiring Daniel Defoe to write his book Robinson Crusoe.
