Week 2 of February 2016 and in Bristol it will be raining loads with strong winds early in the week. Putting the bleak weather aside there's shed loads of things to do in Bristol this week with Chinese New Year, Pancake Day, the BBC 6 Music Festival, more 6 Nations Rugby to watch and Valentine's Day keeping us busy.

CHINESE NEW YEAR : Monday 8 February 2016 

 

Rain all day and winds of up to 40 mph means you need to wrap up very warm. Thunder and lightning in the morning too as we get the tail end of Storm Imogen.

 

PANCAKE DAY : Tuesday 9 February 2016

 

Showers throughout the day and the winds are a little lighter but still 15 mph. 7 degrees is the top temperature with 3 degrees overnight.

The sun is making an appearance during the day and should be dry so take this opportunity to get out and about without getting soaked.

Another chilly day but gale force winds should have receded by now. Temperatures may hit 8 degrees but close to freezing overnight so be careful whether walking or driving.
