Bristol’s finest podcast hosts, Kenco & Mac, were in attendance for the Optimus Bristol Comic Con on April 9th & 10th and it couldn’t have been a better weekend. The dynamic duo were promoting their internationally-successful podcast to the thousands in attendance as well as capturing the magic of Optimus as the convention’s official podcast partner.

Kenco & Mac’s Corner was set up between the Retro Games Arena and the Jedi Lightsaber Academy so they had a perfect view of some of the amazing attractions available at Optimus. While Mac was getting harassed by Orcs all weekend because they thought he was a dwarf (it must’ve been the majestic beard), Kenco was acting as the official Cosplay Correspondent grabbing interviews left, right and centre with some of the larger-than-life characters at Optimus.

The Kenco & Mac Podcast has listeners as far afield a Paraguay and Russia, but they always stay true to their Bristol roots by appearing live at events such as Optimus, as well as live-podcasting from Cineworld in Hengrove for midnight launches such as Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice and the forthcoming Captain America: Civil War.

In their biggest project yet, Kenco & Mac are hosting a series of events in May and June where Ashton Court Mansion (May) and Kings Weston House (June) will be transformed into Wayne Manor for the night for an exclusive screening of Brett Culp’s acclaimed Batman documentary Legends Of The Knight. The May event sold out in well under a week and tickets for the run of three nights in June are going very quickly. This is sure to be the most unmissable event in Bristol this summer, so grab your tickets now.
