Pokémon GO at Bristol Zoo - Wednesday 3 August

Posted on: 29 Jul 2016

PokéMasters are invited to a FREE exclusive, after hours, Pokémon Go evening at Bristol Zoo Gardens on Wednesday 3 August, 6pm - 8pm.

Unless you've been living under a rock recently, most of you will be aware of the Pokemon Go! game that has taken the world by storm and resulted in millions of people eagerly using their Smartphones to track down a whole menagerie of related characters.

Fans of the game can hunt the virtual creatures which have recently descended on the grounds, including Bellsprout, Squirtle, Machop and Cubone. Lure modules will be applied. The Zoo has around 12 PokéStops, as well as a gym where people can battle their Pokémon against fellow PokéMasters.

PokéMasters can reserve entry via Eventbrite. The Zoo ask for suggested donation of £3 on the door, which will go directly into the conservation fund to help save wildlife locally and around the world.

Free parking is available in the North Car Park and on surrounding streets. Bristol Zoo also offers free WiFi so no need to worry about draining your data for once! Food and drink will be available to purchase on-site, though please note: all animal exhibits, including Twilight World and the Gorilla House, will not be accessible. There is also no cash point at the Zoo.
