Another stellar lineup will take over Trinity for its beloved annual Garden Party

The sun-soaked all-dayer is back once again and the Trinity Centre team can’t wait to welcome Bristolian through their famous gates once again.

 

Trinity Garden Party will take over the Bristol venue’s grounds on Sunday 12 May 2024.

 

This FREE annual music and arts extravaganza will feature a vibrant and eclectic blend of local artists, bands and performers. Garden Party is a family-friendly event with workshops, activities and more also running throughout the day – don’t miss out on this one!

Headlining this beloved event will be Selecta J-Man, an acclaimed new school D&B producer with a deep love of reggae who has worked with the likes of Protoje, London Posse, Charlie P, Eva Lazarus and more.

 

He will be joined on stage by prolific and versatile MC Rider Shafique; a Gloucester-born lyricist, poet, MC and recording artist who has lent his undeniable lyrics and flow to the likes of Critical Music, Shogun Audio, J. Sparrow, Sub Zero and Young Echo.

 

Club Djembe co-head and talented selector Josephine Gyasi will also be in attendance, presenting a blend of funk, funky house, Afrobeats, dub and more. Also displaying his talent on the decks will be Kesh, the mind behind popular Bristol club nights AnExperience and Pangea.

 

In terms of live music, one of the youngest Gnawa masters in the world Mohamed Errebbaa will be lending his immense talents, while genre-juggling lyricist Komposa will be gracing the Garden Party with his beats, gritty flows and masterful lyricism.

 

There will also be appearances from the eclectic group Los Gusanos who blend blues, jazz, Latin and Afro-Colombian music, as well as rising folk singer-songwriter Eva Penney. Away from the music, there will be a wide range of workshops, family activities, workshops, arts and crafts, food stalls, a well-stocked bar and more.

 

 

Trinity Garden Party will take over the Bristol venue’s grounds on Sunday 12 May 2024 - tickets are FREE, although a £3 donation is suggested.
